SOLVE, a nonprofit whose mission is to bring Oregonians together through environmental stewardship, has shifted gears since the "stay at home" order related to COVID-19.
Now, we are encouraging Oregonians to use this time of social distancing in a positive way - by cleaning up your community. Grab a pair of gloves and an old grocery bag, and take a stroll in your neighborhood, picking up the litter you see, being mindful to not pick up anything dangerous or sharp.
Then, let us know how your cleanup went! Email what you found, along with a photo, to info@solveoregon.org.
You may even be featured on SOLVE's social media and win some SOLVE swag!
We may be volunteering apart, but we are together in how we are taking care of Oregon.

Mission Statement
Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewardship.
Description
At SOLVE our mission is simple: Bring Oregonians together to improve our environment and build a legacy of stewadship. We do that through facilitating hands-on volunteer opportunities across the state that help to remove litter and restore native habitat through out our natural areas and neighborhoods. The majority SOLVE events are created and led by local volunteer leaders with a stake in the health and strength of the local community. We also offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from one time participation at a local event, to leadership roles on a local of regional level. We look forward to connecitng with you soon to help care for an outdoor area you love in Oregon!
