Job Description: Manage the Legal Committee. Its primary activity is legal advice and activity for Doing Good.
Time Involved: 4-5 hours/month including the 1-hour monthly committee meeting held via Zoom.
Responsibilities of Legal Assistant Director
Best for those seeking leadership development experience in people and/or project management.
- Partner closely with the Legal Director to strategize the direction and plans for the committee.
- Manage the Legal Committee. Keep everyone on task and on track. Run committee meetings.
- Participate in periodic leadership development opportunities.
- Partner with Doing Good committees and volunteers.
- Use Google Drive, Trello and Zoom.
- Beginning January of 2023, Assistant Directors across Doing Good will form its Junior Board.
- Learn fundamentals of serving on a nonprofit board.
- Meet every 6 weeks.
- $50/year donation is requested.
