WILL YOU HELP A LOCAL FAMILY FEED THEIR PETS?

The Crossings Animal Society (CAS) has launched a new community partnership program to ensure that families in need can feed their pets. Because of COVID-19 and the economic crisis that followed, many families have lost part or all of their income. When money becomes scarce, the risk increases that the family may surrender the cat or dog that they love.

We don’t want this to happen.

So we’ve found a way to assist local families to continue to feed their dogs and cats -- it’s called the Curbside Kibble Express. It is a family-helping-family approach to providing pet food for families economically impacted by the virus.

If you are an animal lover looking for a way to contribute during this crisis, sign up to sponsor a family by donating the cost of that family’s pet food for one or more months.

As a sponsor family, Curbside Kibble Express works like this:

  1. You sign up on our website
  2. You decide the minimum and maximum amount of money you would like to donate per month for a family’s pet food, and how long you would like to participate in the program.
  3. You are then matched to a family needing assistance.
  4. CAS contacts you with the donation amount for a month of pet food for the family you are helping, and you make the donation (tax-deductible) through our website.
  5. The recipient family then picks up their food curbside at one of our local participating pet food stores.

Signing up is easy! Log onto www.TheCrossingsAnimalSociety.org and click on "Sponsor Sign Up" in the top box of the Home Page. Complete the registration form, and click "Submit", and we’ll contact you within 48 hours to begin.

So please register today to be a sponsor for the Curbside Kibble Express!

If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please email CAS at info@CrossingsAnimalSociety.org or leave us a voicemail at (215) 321-4673.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Crossings Animal Society is to ensure a loving home and quality care for every dog and cat in our community.

Description

Located in Bucks County, PA, we also help dogs and cats in Mercer and Hunterdon counties in NJ, as well as in other nearby locations.

Our approach is to work with rescue and animal welfare organizations, shelters, veterinarians, trainers, and animal lovers like you to become a no-kill community. Having a no-kill community means that we save 95-98% of all dogs and cats, regardless of age or "adoptability".

We work in two ways to fulfill our mission: (1) our "United Paw" programs that directly assist dogs and cats, and (2) building the area's first no-kill dog and cat sanctuary.
