Volunteer at The Food Trust's Farmers Markets - Headhouse

As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, we have an urgent need for additional volunteer support at our Headhouse weekend farmers market. Volunteers will assist with market operations, as well as special social distancing and safety measures. Tasks include setting up and breaking down the farmers market, processing EBT transactions, distributing Food Bucks (fruit and vegetable coupons), promoting social distancing, and supporting customer line management.
The Headhouse Farmers Market takes place on Sundays, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (10 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning in May). The market opens early, at 9:30 a.m., for senior and immunocompromised shoppers. Shifts are available in three hour blocks-please contact us for more information!
All volunteers will be asked to complete a volunteer liability form (available at http://thefoodtrust.org/uploads/media_items/the-food-trust-farmers-market-volunteer-waiver.original.pdf), and download a certificate of completion after watching a 10-minute training video about COVID-19 safety and health precautions (http://www.foodconnectgroup.com/covid19training.html). We request that all volunteers bring their own cloth mask or face covering. The Food Trust will provide all volunteers with gloves and hand sanitizer.
