My Brother's Table is open 365 days a year and will remain open, but we need volunteers to be able to continue serving our guests. We are happy to work with your schedule and your availability.
We served over 1 million free meals between March 2020 and March 2021 and we continue to serve more meals than before. We are open from 12-6pm during the week and from 2-4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our volunteer shifts on weekdays are 10:30am-1pm, 12:30-4pm and 3:30-6:15pm.
Our volunteer shift on Saturdays and Sundays is 12-5pm or 12-3pm or 2:30-5pm for anyone unable to volunteer the full shift.
We also need help picking up food bank orders and donations, helping with special projects & assisting with all sorts of tasks so please reach out even if the specific shifts listed don't work for you,
We have expanded our schedule to meet the greater demand, to reduce the risk of a rush of people at any point and to allow for distancing between guests, volunteers and staff. Volunteers will be helping us prepare the meals, package the meals and distribute the meals. We are doing all meals to go at this point and only allowing a few guests at a time into our large dining room.

Description
Founded in 1982 My Brother’s Table, the largest soup kitchen on the North Shore, has provided over 3.5 million hot, free meals and outreach to men, women and children in need. Last year alone MBT served over 204,000 free meals.
MBT is open 365 days a year, through snow and ice storms, power outages and other difficult events. My Brother’s Table has been open over 10,000 consecutive days, offering free meals to everyone who comes to our door, regardless of race, color, creed or sex.
