The volunteer Grant Writer will work closely with the Co-DIrector/CEO to prepare and submit grant applications. The CEO is an experienced grant writer but has limited availability to devote to preparing first-time requests to new funders / foundations. There is a lot of existing boilerplate copy that can be used for new proposals. CEO needs support in assembling grants for new potential funders. Familiarity with Google Drive products and spreadsheets would be a plus. While it is helpful for the volunteer to be local and be aware of the local ecosystem, almost all of the work could be conducted remotely. There is a Cafe on site with wi-fi where work can be done as well. Volunteer perks include free food / beverage from Cafe, and free tickets to shows.
