During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Volunteer at a kid’s nature discovery camp. Assist teachers with lessons, set-up and tear down, crafts, games, activities, check-in and check-out, and more. Great for teenagers and young adults who enjoy baby sitting and educating children. Activities are outdoors in nature. If you are interested in reptiles, our camps include animal interactions with our animal ambassadors too.
There is a snack and lunch break. We recommend you pack a lunch and snack. We have a full kitchen, so you would be able to use the fridge, freezer and microwave for any food you bring.
Camp is from 9:30-2:30pm. Volunteer time begins during set-up at 9:00am and ends at clean-up at 3:00pm. If you cannot volunteer the entire time or for the entire week, that is okay too! We are flexible and can work with your schedule.
I am in need of at least 3 volunteers per day per camp.
The six camps are separated into a preschool camp, camp for 1st-3rd graders and camp for 4th-6th graders.
Camp dates are as follows below:
Week 1: June 22- June 26
Week 1A: July 6th- July 10th
Week 2: July 13- July 17
Week 2A: July 20th- July 24th
Week 3A: July 27th- July 31st
Week 3: August 3- August 7
