Help to assemble Emergency Food Boxes in response to those in need in our community due to COVID-19 Virus. We are prepacking our food boxes to keep our food safe and to reduce transmission of the virus. Our food distributions are having to use alternative methods until further notice.
You may be asked to do any of the following:
- Create cardboard boxes with tape guns.
- Fill boxes with food on assembly line.
- Break down boxes.
Individuals, families and groups are welcome.
Weekday shifts from 9-11 am, only at our Delmont warehouse.

Description
The Westmoreland County Food Bank is a private, not-for profit organization that supplies food to hungry people through a network of assistance programs in Westmoreland County. Our 40,000 square foot facility is located in Delmont. We serve over 7,000 disadvantaged families each month through our network of 44 pantries and 20 agencies throughout Westmoreland County. We utilize approximately 6500 total volunteers a year to help us with our mission.
