The online and social media communications lead ignites the passion for the Pandot mission online within the online community. The individuals in this role is an online voice and connector to the community’s cause. They are comfortable in using a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, forums, etc.) and are willing to learn ways to support and engage Pandot’s participants through the online fundraising website.

SPECIFIC TASK CAN INCLUDE

  • Setup & Engage people through the Pandot’s Facebook page
  • Update and maintain Pandot’s Twitter feed
  • Update and maintain LinkedIn page
  • Coordinate with the fundraising lead to promote fundraisers on social media
  • Recognize teams, participants, sponsors, etc.

So...at this point you may be wondering...WHAT IS PANDOT? At Pandot our core goal is creating an organization and structure that can rapidly respond to the changing needs created by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will include up-to-date local information on local services and initiatives, obtaining and distribution of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), establishing an online platform where anyone can interact in a relevant structure designed to meet local and individual needs. The movement's true power will be the commitment of the participants, volunteers, and supporters to help the everyone thru this event in the best possible way. This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Pandot www.pandot.org.

The organization was established as a 501(c3) in 2018 and is shifting focus due to the current situation and need.
We are currently working on establishing the infrastructure and content for the web-site.
Our goal is to have the local state and county sections up and running within a short time.
We need volunteers and fundraising staff as a high priority
