Deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors.
Volunteers are continuously needed to provide meals to the homes of persons who are elderly and/or disabled. Meals are prepared at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado, Lake Point Nursing Home in Augusta, and Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater. A committment of one or more days per week is required; substitutes are also needed.
Pick up meals (hot and cold items) and follow delivery route, taking meals to clients, and then returning items used in delivery to site.
Terms: Car Required - Must Provide Own Transportation

Join other Butler County RSVP members in providing volunteer services that contribute to a better quality of life for our entire community! RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute as many hours as they chose, serving through RSVP projects sites and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
