Operation Gratitude

  • 62 people are interested

All of our volunteerism is virtual due to the current coronavirus crisis. You can participate in all of our projects at your own home and send them to Operation Gratitude!

Because our Deployed Troops and First Responders can’t stop, we won’t stop!

Join us as we continue to give back and say "Thank You" to all who serve by volunteering virtually from home.

Our #VirtualVolunteerism campaign will allow every American the opportunity to support Deployed Troops, National Guardsmen, First Responders, and Emergency Medical Personnel on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are writing letters, knitting, crocheting and sewing handmade items and making paracord bracelets. For more information, please visit the link below.

How This Helps Our Community

Our response to COVID-19 is a call to action for #VirtualVolunteerism, and we are providing 3 ways for you (and your family) to give back from your own home.

During this global pandemic, Operation Gratitude will continue to meet the ever-changing needs of our care package recipients. Join us to demonstrate that actions do speak louder than words and show our COVID-19 First Responders that as long as they continue to serve, we will continue to support them

You can send your donation in to:

About Operation Gratitude

9409 Owensmouth Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311, US

Mission Statement

Operation Gratitude’s mission is to forge strong bonds between Americans and their Military and First Responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide.

In March of 2003, Operation Gratitude sent its first four Care Packages to deployed Service Members in Iraq. Since its inception, the organization has given millions of Americans the opportunity to express appreciation through hands-on volunteerism and lifted the spirits of more than 1.8 million deployed troops, and another 1.3 million recruit graduates, veterans, military families, first responders and healthcare heroes.

Corporate partners and grateful citizens from across the country donate more than 15 million "Wish List" and handmade items each year to fill our signature Care Packages. Through donation drives, letter-writing campaigns, craft projects, hands-on service projects, and other activities, volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization.

Each package contains donated products valued between $45 and $100 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship.
