Transform a Life

While sheltering in place is critical to overcoming the pandemic, its important to remember that home isn’t a sanctuary for everyone. The youth that New Pathways serve live with the toxic stress that accompanies poverty and adversity every day. The added health and economic pressures that the Covid crisis creates only intensify the fear, the worry, the tension and the hardship in the household.

During this time of social distancing, New Pathways for Youth is doubling down in our effort to recruit and train caring and nurturing adult volunteers. If you have the heart and willingness to be a consistent coach and source of inspiration and hope for a young person in our community, now is the time to act!

New Pathways for Youth provides local teens who come from extreme poverty and adversity with one-one mentoring, life skills development workshops and a fun, loving and supportive community of youth and adults! Mentors are well trained and supported throughout the mentoring journey so that they can be unstoppable for their mentees!

To get started, attend a Virtual Mentor Introduction Session with the NPFY Mentor Recruiter. They are held on ZOOM every Tuesday at 6:15pm, every Friday at noon and the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 7:30am. You can RSVP & get the link to attend here https://npfy.as.me/Mentor-Intro or call (480) 316-0435.
