Volunteers help maintain the grounds and ponds of Dillon Nature Center. They water, weed, mow, move irrigation rainbirds, trim trails, pick up litter, till, keep the Playscape tidy, and get involved in a variety of outdoor projects. Volunteers are also needed during the school season to guide groups of school age children. Volunteers are also needed to be a part of the green team that helps with the transplanting and care of deedlings, planting of the gardens, in-depth care of the perennial flowerbeds, etc. Dillon Nature Center is a busy place and takes a lot of work. Volunteer responsibilities vary depending on the season.
