In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Baton Rouge General is seeking volunteers to assist in sewing homemade cloth masks donated to the hospital. You will need to have a sewing machine and the materials necessary to make the masks.

Our volunteers are an essential part of our Community of Caring, impacting so many of the General's patients, visitors, friends, doctors, nurses and staff. They provide the little extras that help to create that special experience people have come to know and love at the General.
Description
We are a not for profit hospital which is community owned. Our volunteers have an Auxiliary which returns all profits from fundraisers and the gift shops to the hospital at year-end to purchase medical equipment, security equipment, and interior updates.

- Due to the severity of this virus, we are in constant and extreme need of the cloth masks. Every employee, patient, vendor, anyone within the hospital is required to wear a cloth mask.
