Boresha Jamii Organization envisions local communities managing and enjoying their sustained development. Our activities are as detailed below:
This project aims to empower the youth, PWDS and their families through innovation, value addition, training/skills transfer, demonstration on sustainable agribusiness and livelihoods improvement methods. The project activities are carried out in Olkalou sub County of Nyandarua County located along Lanet - Thompson Falls Road approximately 30 minutes drive from Nakuru Town.
This project primarily supports children with special needs in education, children living in difficult circumstances and those in need of rescue and protection to access education. The project aims to raise funds and sponsor children in specialized institutions where they can access special education and psycho-social support. BJIT also runs an Early Childhood Education Centre located in Pangani Slum of NakuruCity 10 minutes drive from the Central business district, where poor children access education at much subsidized cost and get a meal .....which is sometimes the only meal they get in a day.
3. The care givers also receive psycho-social support and massage techniques to help in basic physio therapy and occupational therapy to the children. This project is located in Pangani slum, Nakuru City of Nakuru County in Kenya.
