About The Dromen Group

Location:

Mission Statement

The Dromen Group's mission is to increase educational opportunity and provide students with budgeting and financial tools that will help ensure their success after graduation. The Dromen Group will realize its mission by way of hard work, carefully constructing partnerships, and bringing to bear the collective passion of those wishing to implement positive change in the world.

Description

The Dromen Group, a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, believes that a well-balanced affordable education is essential to ensure lifelong success! However, a false narrative has formed in the recent past. The idea that everyone should obtain a four year degree, and take on a massive debt load to do so, has caused tremendous harm to students. Many students enter the job market with a lot of debt and no job experience. Students often end up with minimum wage jobs after graduation that will not allow them to pay down their debts.

The Dromen Group will:

  • Provide financial assistance to students via free to enter scholarship essay contests to reduce the need for taking on debt;

  • Encourage students to consider relatively inexpensive trade school programs, or taking classes at community colleges prior to transferring to a four year college. Students can easily save tens of thousands of dollars;

  • Provide educational material to promote concepts of proper budgeting, long term planning, and frugal living.
