New Star Family Justice Center is a Domestic Violence agency located in the City of Hawthorne, California. The motto of New Star is: "Working Together - Changing Lives". It is from this motto that New Star is committed to helping victims of domestic violence regain self-confidence and self-sufficiency by accessing an array of services free of cost such as: individual counseling, group therapy, assistance with orders of protection, court support, connecting with life skills programs and more.
New Star is seeking a Volunteer that can help develop a digital newsletter using Mailchimp program. Specifically, we need the Volunteer to create a template that includes a banner at the top and the framework should support articles, event pictures and various links. The newsletter will be updated by the staff with current information and emailed monthly to social agencies and community members.
