Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check-in donor ensure donor reads pre-donation materials (before via RapidPass or during check-in), schedule next appointment, offer promotional items when available, encourage best donation process * Ensure canteen area is clean, restocked and donors are re-hydrated after donation procedure. * Ambassadors will be trained to do both jobs.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Requires good oral communication, friendly, customer service skills, and the ability to relate effectively to people of diverse backgrounds and education levels. * Comfort with computers and ability to enter basic information in database is preferred.
Training Requirements
- Donor Ambassador Orientation and Training (1-2 hours) before first blood drive * On the Job Instruction with mentor/trainer * Quarterly Refresher Series (1 hour), occasional skill or program updates
