VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ON THE CEC WEBSITE PRIOR TO SHOWING UP TO VOLUNTEER. www.cechope.org/volunteers/ "Food Pantry Special Needs" We appreciate your willingness to volunteer, as the COVID-19 restrictions have limited 15 volunteers per shift, we must approve all volunteers through the CEC website. We are operating a food pantry at the CEC and need volunteers in TWO SHIFTS
Mondays - Fridays
Morning Shift from 8:30am - 1:00pm to bag groceries and load groceries into cars for neighbors coming to get food.
Afternoon Shift from 1:00pm - 4:00pmpm to bag groceries, stock shelves and prepare the food pantry for the next day.
We are doing everything to keep volunteers and staff safe by frequently washing hands and all surfaces, limiting the number of people in one area, social distancing, wearing gloves, temperture is taken upon building entry, etc.
Closed toe shoes (sneakers) and clothing that can get dirty and is appropriate for the weather, you may be outside.
Park in the front of the CEC building and enter through the door to the right of the Welcome Center. Leave personal belongings in your car or at home. Volunteers must be 12 years of age with an adult present. Volunteers 15 years and older can volunteer without an adult present.

To provide a realistic opportunity for each qualified homeless family in Tarrant County to achieve self-sufficiency.
The CEC provides housing and case management support for homeless families working to become self-sufficient. The CEC also runs a food pantry that serves low-income people in northeast Tarrant County.
We'll work with your schedule.
