Ways to Virtually Volunteer with you and your family:

-Respecting Diversity! We need help translating our fliers, social media posts, etc to other languages (Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, etc) so we can reach all the people in Katy.

-Making a House a Home! Katy Responds hosts "Welcome Home" events to show our client and their family the completed and improved house. For this, we need some posters and gifts (like cards, blankets, activities, etc)! This will be a fun craft opportunity to do with your kids!

-Spreading Community Cheer! Another fun opportunity to do with your kids is to have them write an encouraging letter or make a poster with inspiring images and quotes to share with your family and neighborhoods. Mail the letter to someone struggling or tape the poster to your door so people can see it as they pass.

-Giving the Parents a Break! During this difficult time of self-isolation and school closings, parents need some extra help to keep their kids engaged. Have your own kids help you create crafts and games, like coloring sheets, recording audio books, making an original story, invent a new game, make plans for an obstacle course, etc.

-Spread the Word! You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram, like our posts and share them with at least 5 of your friends!
