The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has made it's way to our area and United Way of Lancaster County's Volunteer Center needs your help! We are currently reaching out to nonprofit organizations in our community to see what new or additional needs that they have during this pandemic. . United Way does STRESS that all volunteers spending time on-site at an agency or working in the community must have no symptoms of illness or a compromised immune system that could put their health at risk. The safety of our volunteers is our top priority. We will also be encouraging nonprofits to submit projects that can be done remotely for anyone who would like to be involved without having to be on-site. If you are interested in receiving updates about volunteer opportunities related to this situation, we invite you to join the Lancaster County Coronavirus Action Team here: https://uwlanc.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=507719
