ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolinas

  • 36 people are interested

During this COVID-19 crisis, we are making every effort to meet the immediate needs of our vulnerable adults and families. We need the support of our community. Most of our homeless or low-income clients do not have the financial means to stock a pantry. We need people to get involved as the crisis continues to unfold by donating grocery gift cards, or nourishing meals, or financial support so that we can provide food and warm and safe shelter.

We are asking volunteers to make phone calls to our donors. The goal is to connect with them during this time, thank them for their continued support, find out how they are doing and to share with them some of our needs. All volunteers will participate in a Zoom informational meeting before they are scheduled to begin.

Thank you for your support. We could not do what we do without you!!
