Join the American Red Cross - New Jersey Region to help us navigate through the COVID-19 Crisis by signing up for a virtual / remote opportunity.
Here is just a small sample of how you can get involved while never leaving your home:
Volunteer Screener Team Member
- Assist the Volunteer Services Engagement team to screen potential volunteers and place them in the appropriate position.
- Schedules and conducts screening interviews.
- 20 hours of training via Skype.
- 8 hours per week, minimum of 6 months commitment.
- Has a general understanding on volunteer opportunities.
- Able to navigate Volunteer Connection (our volunteer database) as required.
Recovery Team Member: Follow-Up Caseworker
Our Recovery Team Members work with clients who have been affected by a disaster (including home fires) to ensure they have a recovery plan and their needs are met. Our teams follow-up with clients regularly as needed to ensure they feel supported and have a path forward.
