Hi!

We’re making an environmental-social app. It makes climate action easy, fun & social - leveraging positive peer pressure to create a movement of action to protect our planet from climate change.

We have created v1 of the Android and iOS apps! (Search on the app stores if in UK)

We are 30 enthusiastic climate volunteers with experience from NASA / Sky / Whatsapp / Facebook / Airbus / NHS / rapid-scale start-ups, with climate scientists, Olympians, and Guinness-world record-holders all on board to make the project a huge success.

We’re looking for someone who cares about preventing the upcoming climate crisis, and who has the necessary skills to create a ground-breaking Android app - to join our existing dev team

What are we looking for?

Ideally someone with a few years of professional Android/Java dev experience.

Mission Statement

We only have 8.5 years left. People need to change their behaviour and become more educated. This then puts pressure on, and allows politicians to put in place the policy needed to reduce CO2 substantially to avoid climate catastrophe. The way we believe this will be achieved, is via an app used extensively by all types of people that uses positive peer-pressure as the driving force to record, incentivise and drive individual and group actions to reduce their CO2 footprint - a virtuous circle. We are a group of highly skilled individuals putting our time and energy into the most important thing right now - helping to change human behaviour and avoid climate catastrophe. Many of us are part of extinction rebellion.
