We are in need of Toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizing wipes. We serve 39 families and would like one of each item for them, 39 total.

Items may be mailed or delivered on Wednesday afternoons to meet for drop off, but please sign up to let us know in advance.

Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission helps low income individuals develop the knowledge, opportunities and resources they need to achieve self reliance.

Description

Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission was established in 1966 to address the paradox of poverty in a land of plenty. NKCAC provides quality essential services and a strong voice for the low income families we serve, enabling them to achieve a brighter future. Programs/services include:

Early Childhood Development - Head Start pre-school program for children 3 and 4 years of age to prepare them for kindergarten; Summer Enrichment

Community and Neighborhood Services helps economically disadvantaged families meet their basic needs through emergency utilities, rent or mortgage payments, food ("choice" food pantries, commodities, mobile food pantries, garden seeds and Farmer’s Market coupons), homelessness prevention, clothing and medicine, budget counseling, case management, nutrition, and referrals for job training, literacy, and educational programs.

YouthBuild, a workforce development program for high school dropouts aged 16-24. Participants earn a GED while learning the construction trade and carpentry, volunteering and getting reconnected with their communities.

Senior Community Service Employment Program Employment Program helps low income, unemployed individuals aged 55+ to find work.

Senior Centers provide social, recreational, educational, and physical programs for active seniors.
