VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
Valley Cities Volunteers are responsible for supporting Resource Room office duties, managing day to day duties, providing excellent customer service to all who utilize Resource Rooms, and upholding the Valley Cities mission and values.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet and escort visitors
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Basic computer functions
- Provide excellent customer service to all who utilize Resource Rooms
- Stock Resource Rooms and maintain cleanliness
- Help facilitate the sign in/out process
- Communicate regularly and in a timely manner with the lead volunteers and Volunteer Coordinator
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrate effective communication with staff and visitors, written and verbal
- Awareness of and commitment to recovery principles
- Pass required background check
- Ability to work in a team as well as on own
