During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
360 Communities continues to be committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our clients, volunteers and staff. We are carefully monitoring the rapidly evolving communications and recommendations from the CDC, government agencies and state and local officials. We are all aware of the role that COVID-19 is playing in our lives and thank you for being interested in helping our community. Our food shelves are considered essential services and are open during the state mandated "Safe at home" ordinance.
While we each consider our choices and options to keep ourselves and our families safe and healthy, there are more people than ever in our community that need our help with food. It is important to 360 Communities that we continue to reach and serve those in need. We are continuing to serve families at our Rosemount Food Shelf through a pre-packed, drive up model with these new protocols in place:
We need volunteers to help us sustain this. If you are in a situation where you are concerned about volunteering and your health, we encourage you to please stay home and come back to volunteer with us when the COVID-19 virus concerns pass.
If you are in the low risk category and are healthy, and would like to help support your community, we have volunteer opportunities available. The following link will take you to a third party site, SignUpGenius that lists all our shifts and openings through the month of May: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4fafaa2fa5fa7-rosemount4. At the start of each shift, we need volunteers to be able to answer yes to the following questions:
If you answer yes to any of these questions we ask that you not sign up to volunteer until you can answer no to all questions. If you become ill once you have signed up for a shift(s), please feel free to go back to the link and delete yourself off the shift(s).
You are encouraged to check back to the SignUpGenius link frequently as peoples availability to volunteer changes daily and there will be additional open shifts as a result. Additionally, as we go forward, if we need to extend the timeline of these temporary protocols, so we will be adding additional dates to this link. If there are not dates that fit for you at this location, we do have volunteer opportunities at our Burnsville Food Shelf also. The SignUpGenius link for our Burnsville food shelf is: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4fafaa2fa5fa7-burnsville3
We are happy to have high school age students and those that are off work as a result of the virus, volunteer during this time frame. We encourage you to consider this opportunity only if you are comfortable with it and feel that you are not a carrier of the virus.
Thank you for choosing 360 Communities to donate your time and talent to. Without you, we would not be able to serve our community!
