The Chapter provides client and mentoring service to 5 counties, Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo and San Joaquin. We have two major functions, providing mentoring and workshops to both pre-business and in-business clients.
Currently we have specific need for mentor and workshop experience/skills in Restaurant ownership/management, International Trade, Membership Management, Fund Raising Leadership, Workshop Instructors familiar with online presentations and classroom settings, Administrative Support. While these are specific needs, we welcome all those who with the background and experience to help are clients. Since 60% of our clients are women, we need more women volunteers to meet our client needs.

The Sacramento SCORE Chapter is a diverse group of active members providing client mentoring and workshops for the Greater Sacramento Business Community. We provide our support and expertise to help emerging and in-business clients achieve their dream of success. As a Chapter, we serve the counties of Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo and San Joaquin, Becoming a member of the Sacramento Chapter is a great opportunity to share your business experience and knowledge to help other succeed. The value for our members is the satisfaction that you have made a contribution to someone's success. It is also a great opportunity to grow professionally through lifelong learning.We are looking for volunteers in the areas of: International Trade, Chapter Administration, fund Raising, Membership/Training, Restaurant operations and management.
The Sacramento SCORE Chapter is a diverse Chapter and devoted to ensuring our membership reflects the makeup of our business community. We actively encourage business women and those in the minority community to join to better serve this growing small business population.
