Anime For Humanity is a 501(c)(3) charity non-profit dedicated to use Anime, Cosplay and Video Games as a medium to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and offer hope and help for people struggling with mental health.

We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Manager with creative, adaptable, and excellent writing skills to generate engaging, original content for our social media platforms.

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Generate, edit, publish and share content (images, video, etc.) to raise the awareness for mental health through anime and the fandom.
• Graphic design experience is recommended (Yes, we use Canva!)
• Schedule three weeks of content (three daily posts minimum) in advance.
• Post stories on Facebook and Instagram.
• Monitoring responses to better understand the audience.
• Determine metrics for ensuring the effectiveness of marketing content, and providing regular performance updates to our staff. Provide Content and Social Media growth and performance reporting.
• Staying current on anime and mental health trends (both in the news and in popular culture) for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.
