Support the Boys & Girls Clubhouses of Metro Los Angeles in extending our services amongst recent events. We welcome all volunteers with a desire to share their skills, educate on a subject, or just perform a fun activity virtually with our club members.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
- Foster a safe and nurturing virtual environment for members during the program.
- Collaborate with assigned staff to lead an activity via an assigned conferencing platform.
- Review online volunteer training sessions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and access to a webcam.
- Background check clearance.
- Be willing to communicate regularly with program staff, submit activity information, and take constructive feedback regarding activities.
- BGCMLA does not accept court-appointed volunteers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience volunteering with youth.
- Bilingual a plus.
