During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
The Soles4Souls warehouse in Bordentown, NJ needs help loading 6,000-8,000 pairs of shoes onto a truck! We host a trucking day about every three months so we are always looking for a strong individuals or group of volunteers to help us.
We need at least 10-15 volunteers who will load the truck, which includes tossing bags of shoes onto a truck and help stacking them so we can make as much room as possible. We can't do this without amazing volunteers in our community. So please come out, meet other donors and volunteers, get in your service hours, grab a free Gatorade, and listen to some music while we load up!
It takes a lot of hands and teamwork to do this! Please let us know if you and/or your team are able to participate in this type of volunteer opportunity. There will be plenty of water, Gatorade, and some snacks to give you all the energy you need!
Got shoes? This is also a great time to drop-off any shoes you have from you shoe drive. We can load them up right away!
You will find a full list of our upcoming Trucking Days below! If you’re interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line "Trucking Day" with the date.
Upcoming Trucking Days:
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the well-being of our team and our supporters remain our top priority. Soles4Souls team members will work remotely as much as possible and moving forward, all volunteer group activities will be suspended at our donation facilities. All trucking days have been suspended until further notice. Please e-mail email@example.com to receive future updates.
WHERE DO THE SHOES GO?
In supporting Soles4Souls in just a few hours of service, you will help make a major impact on the lives of families in places like Haiti and Honduras. The 6K pair of shoes you will load will benefit Soles4Souls international micro-enterprise program as a tool to generate income. The micro-enterprise model offers a powerful and sustainable way for people to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
