Daily Bread Express (DBX) is committed to providing meals to low income individuals living with HIV. DBX is part of the HIV Services organized by Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO), our other main program within HIV Services is the HIV Day Center. With the pandemic we have seen an significant increase in requests for in-home meal deliveries, and currently we do not have enough volunteers to meet the demand.
The requirements for this volunteer position are:
- Valid Driver's License
- Vehicle with current Insurance
- ORCHARDS Background Check (Paid for and ran by EMO)

"Ecumenical Ministries HIV Services Program is a community of clients, staff, and volunteers that strive to address basic needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS in a manner consistent with the values of respect, compassion and safety.
Description
The HIV Services program operates a Day Center which offers a place of care, respect, and support for people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. The Center provides nutritious meals on-site daily, as well as counseling and a variety of critical support services. HIV Services also provides high quality home-delivered meals to homebound clients through our Daily Bread Express (DBX) program.
