OC Habitats reaches the community through a variety of mediums such as in-person contact, direct email correspondence, website posts, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Our goal is to increase awareness of our local habitats through all of these and we are specifically looking for individuals who have an interest and skill in the social media platforms. Our goal is to post at least 3 times per week on our local habitats, featured species, community habitat needs, and upcoming events. We like to promote the public's curiosity about their local habitats and species and get them involved by first becoming aware and educated.
