As a Hospice volunteer, you have the opportunity to create joy! Become a part of the patient's holistic team--Doctor, RN, Chaplain, Social Worker, and Music Therapist, and You!
Never volunteered before? Brookdale Hospice volunteers receive special training so you are ready to provide support to hospice patients and their families.
Whether it is just sitting bedside with the patient, listening to music, watching tv, or holding their hand and physically being there for them, will help put the patient at ease and keep them from feeling alone during their last days.
