In light of COVID-19, we are seeing an increase of need in food security within the Tulsa region. Tulsa's Food Security Council and the American Heart Association are working together to provide meals for our local schools, as well as to those who have limited access to food sources.
We are asking for volunteers to help do what is called "Tele-Checks" to the clients who are signed up for Meals on Wheels.
This will include our elderly and low income population, who may need to be called and gain information as to what they need in order to get food deliveries started.
If anyone is willing to help us during this time, please reach out as soon as possible!!
