Are you a retiree looking for something to fill the void of time? Are you a group of ladies from a local church looking for a group project?

Volunteering is a rewarding, fulfilling experience you will only get from giving of your time and your heart.

Kindred Hospice is looking for volunteers ages 18 and up to help those with life limiting conditions in the following counties: Walker, Winston, Marion and Fayette.

These Volunteers are needed to help with small household tasks such as: sweeping, washing dishes, folding laundry or running errands such as picking up groceries (prepaid), going to post office or pharmacy.

Becoming a volunteer is to a hospice patient is much more than you can put in to words. However, here is why one chose to volunteer:

If you are concerned about the impact of Covid-19 don’t be. We are taking every precaution for your safety and are following proper protocols per CDC guidelines.

"I never in a million years would have known what volunteering for Kindred Hospice has meant to me. There has never been a time that I left a patients home without some type of feel good interaction. The patients and their families or caregivers are always such a blessing. If you will take the time to do an act of service for someone, ask about their day, their life, their history. You will always hear something interesting. And giving back to someone in need is what it’s all about."
