Giving Hope For those in Quarantine -COVID19-

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Brookdale Hospice Sacramento

  • 46 people are interested

Do you want to help the community but don't know how because of social distancing or quarantine (or you just don't want to be around people)?

What about making a card or sending a postcard or card to someone in a nursing home? These folks are on lockdown in their residences to prevent them from contracting covid19, but it also means they're being isolated and are very lonely without the support from their families and volunteers.

Hospice patients and residents at these facilities would so appreciate a note from you! Knowing that you care about them, and that they're not alone would really make their day. Your note will take their mind away from this situation where they have no control. Please contact me if you'd like to send a card or a thousand cards and I'll give you some facility addresses where the residents are just waiting to hear from you.

Or if you are interested in making face masks, please contact me for more information!
