Summary of Role:
Director of IT is a highly visible and impactful role in Vibha. This is a great opportunity for high energy, self-motivated individuals looking to volunteer their time to make an impact at grassroots level by leveraging their IT skills, interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and team spirit. This role leads the team of enthusiastic volunteers to lead the IT support for Vibha Bay Area Action Center (AC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Create the IT strategy and roadmap of Vibha Bay Area AC
• Work closely with the IT team of web developers, and designers to ensure that the website is fully operational with working links. Create, update and maintain the web pages with information on current and future AC events
• Create, update, and maintain email templates and handle the email broadcast to mailing lists, within the guidelines of the Action Center
• Coordinate with the National team to keep up to date on various technologies and tools being used at national level, and train local volunteers on the same.
• Lead the team of IT volunteers and coordinate various IT initiatives
• Manage and maintain suitable content which is in line with the objectives of Vibha. Ensure proper and timely delivery of content related to events planned by AC

Qualifications:

• Passion for making a difference in the community and being the change
• Experience in updating and maintaining websites
• Website management, CMS, technology, fundraising experience highly preferred
• Content Management experience is a plus
• Javascript/CSS experience is plus
• Professional and objective outlook
• Understand different web technology trends
