A Wider Circle's mission is to help one individual and one family after another to rise out of poverty. We are looking for leaders, like you, to propel this movement forward. Do you have a passion for service? Do you see yourself making an impact on the greater community? We are seeking individuals to join us as Volunteer Leaders and focus on three main areas: Leading volunteer groups on tours and providing orientations Attending outreach events Welcoming and directing volunteers Training will be provided.

This mission of A Wider Circle is simple: to end poverty for one individual and one family after another
Description
A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit organization that provides holistic support to families in need. We furnish the homes of children and adults who are transitioning out of domestic violence or homeless shelters, or who are simply living without what most of us take for granted - beds, dressers, sheets, towels, and other basic need items. We offer educational programs on topics ranging from job skills and money management to stress management and other life skills. We also provide wrap-around support to those seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce, including professional attire, education, and one-on-one support. We work with the most vulnerable among us, and we do whatever we can do to help them move toward stability and independence.
