Special Events volunteers assist RPO staff with various tasks necessary for our events.
Major responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in training sessions
- Help as needed in executing tasks at the event
- Run errands appropriate to the special event
- Man stations during the event such as food, beverage, or check-in
- Work as a team to benefit the organization
- Follow all safety rules and event space policies
Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Customer Service experience preferred
Dress code: varies with events. Please ask the staff supervisor for specific dress code requirements.
Physical requirements:The volunteer will be occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit. The volunteer must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
