Volunteers are needed to help with the weekly farmers market at Moore Square. This event will feature 30 vendors with local produce and artisan goods.
Volunteer Impact:
Volunteers will assist with the variety of downtown activation events held at Moore Square.
Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers will assist with loading in and loading out vendors, marking programs, and running activities.
Other Information:
We will provide water as well as a staff badge for volunteers. Parking will be available behind the Moore Square Visitors Center.
Work Environment:
We will be working outside in the elements. There will be some physical labor involved during the load in and load out of vendors.
Volunteer Requirements:
You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer. All volunteers will need to complete a volunteer release form. For volunteers under the age of 18, a parent/guardian will need to sign the volunteer form.
Group Registration Information:
Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. A group leader must email rachel.vannoordt@raleighnc.gov to register. All groups will be required to provide a list of names and emails for their volunteers.
Per department policy, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed/ suggested community service hours.
