Northern Virginia Family Service
Even more families are facing food insecurity now during this unprecedented time. We are continuing to distribute food to their families and need additional volunteers to assist with packing food packages to distribute to clients. We are taking several health and safety measures including minimizing client contact, providing gloves and masks to all volunteers and frequently cleaning surfaces.
If you are healthy, are not a part of the identified high risk groups, haven’t traveled in commercial modes of transportation within the last 14 days and are comfortable leaving your home at this time, we welcome you to volunteer. Volunteering for even one shift is helpful and greatly appreciated.
Please use the link below to create an account and sign up for a shift that works with your schedule. The names of the opportunities are "HRC Warehouse Volunteers" & "HRC Warehouse Volunteers Short Term."
