Volunteer Drivers Needed
For agencies that serve older Americans, the number one request for service is transportation. When seniors are asked their number one concern of aging, only health rates higher than transportation.
Ride and Go is a volunteer driver program that provides free transportation for local seniors to go to doctors appointments, the grocery store, and where they need to go. Volunteers make their own schedule, select the rides, locations, days, and times they are able to volunteer. Volunteers receive mileage reimbursement and supplemental liability insurance and the satisfaction of helping someone stay independent and thrive at home.

- As a Ride and Go volunteer, you select when you volunteer. Choose to fill a ride request based on your availability. Active volunteers are asked to commit to give 2 rides per month.
- Volunteers must pass a background check, DMV check, and have current automobile insurance. Hours and on-line ride confirmations are required for mileage reimbursement.
