  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

In response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Mercer Street Friends is responding proactively to continue its work channeling food to over 130 non-profits throughout Mercer County’s food emergency network; however your help is most needed at this unprecedented time.

One way to support our work is the gift of funds that gives us the ability to purchase what is most needed. We have also expanded the amount of food we provide in our weekend meal program (Send Hunger Packing) so that it can feed a family of four instead of one child. To donate, please visit www.mercerstreetfriends.org and click the "Donate Now" button. Volunteers are needed Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 am - Noon and 1 pm - 4 pm to help assemble pallets of food, and pack the bags of weekend meals destined to almost 1,300 food insecure children and their families enrolled in Send Hunger Packing. Please contact Sherries Anderson at (609) 278-5546 or sanderson@mercerstreetfriends.org to schedule your volunteer shift.

We thank you for your years of support and for responding in this crisis. Please stay safe and healthy!
