Ohio River Sweep is the annual, volunteer cleanup of the Ohio River. Litter in our waterways is a global problem and the Ohio River Sweep addresses the problem locally!

During a single day, more than 100 cleanup sites are hosted in six states along the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela Rivers. Volunteers will walk along the shoreline of the Ohio River and collect litter. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Trash bags and a limited supply of gloves are provided.

Each volunteer receives a free t-shirt!
