PEACE Atlanta, Inc. is a supportive housing program that provides a community-based, safe, stable and emotionally supportive group home living environment for adult men and women.
We are looking for a volunteer to pick up food boxes from our partnered food bank in Dallas, Ga and drop them off to one of our group homes in Cedartown, Georgia. (once or twice per month) The volunteer will be responsible for * Keeping inventory|checklist of what was delivered to the home * Reporting pickup days/times to the Executive Director each trip (via email) To qualify, you must * Pass a background check * Have a valid Georgia drivers license Serious inquires only!

Ensure continued funding for future operational costs related to the program. 2.) Continue working with local transportation companies and volunteer programs. 3.) Expand program within the surrounding metro Atlanta area.
Description
PEACE Atlanta is a 501 (c)3 organization dedicated to serving underprivileged individuals both men and women whom have been affected by homelessness due to unfortunate circumstances.
Our organization provides low income housing which is the key necessity for basic living. We will arrange resume preparations, as needed social skills lessons, GED referrals and financial support services. We will prepare these individuals for potential interviews, assist with clothing and food services.
