Catholic Social Services is seeking volunteers to provide on-site childcare for young mothers who attend a support group at Catholic Social Services.
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor children to ensure they remain safe as they go about coloring, drawing, playing, etc. Play and talk with children, offer comfort when needed, and resolve minor spats and squabbles. Volunteers will NOT be asked to do any diaper changes or toileting.
Qualifications
Volunteers should also be able to bend and lift small children.
Volunteers should also be able to pass a background check and willing to undergo some training pertaining to child safety and agency policy. Must be 21 or older.
