The San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer's, scheduled for Saturday November 7th, 2020, is looking for dedicated volunteers to be a part of our Logistics Subcommittee. The Logistics Subcommittee is responsible for ensuring all event day components are well-planned and that participants have an excellent experience at Walk to End Alzheimer's from the parking lot to the finish line.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Designing and planning event festivities area, start/finish line area and Walk route
- Coordinating the stage program and event entertainment
- Recruiting, training and managing event day volunters
Personal attributes: great attention to detail, excellent project and time management skills, the ability to creatively solve problems and can remain calm and collected under pressure.

Description
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
