Youth MOVE National is offering an opportunity to join the board of directors and is specifically recruiting young adults (ages 18 - 29) who have lived experience in a youth serving system (including mental health, juvenile justice, special education, recovery, or child welfare) and adult allies who are passionate about creating a better future for young people.

Youth MOVE National is on the cutting edge of youth engagement and systems transformation efforts with a robust chapter network of youth leaders. We invite you to join the in a strategic leadership position to continue to push the envelope on youth-driven change.

We are a growing board and we have an invested interest in finding applicants with fundraising, accounting, and business development experience.

Board directors are expected to attend the monthly evening board meeting, serve on a committee and use their expertise to further the organization’s mission. All board members have a fundraising responsibility and are encouraged to leverage their personal network; training will be provided in this area as needed. The overall time commitment is approximately 8 hours per month for a two year board term.
