We have an opening for a volunteer to help with weekly pet therapy. Your role will be to ensure the kids are engaged with the animal and participate in the provided activity. You will be accompanied by another volunteer with their animal. Students are supported by their teachers and aide.

To provide Animal Assisted Therapy to individuals with special needs, allowing them the opportunity to build animal human friendships, while simultaneously working on individual therapy goals.

Description

We provide Animal Assisted Therapy to individuals with special needs in a clinical and educational setting. We work with Therapists as well as Teachers as a team to assist the children in reaching their personal goals.
